This Halloween, step into the shadows and experience Ghosted Ink’s UTTERLY GRIM Horror Slam, a one-night-only live event where storytelling turns sinister, and horror takes the stage.
The Ghosted Ink: Horror Slam is a seasonal event inviting writers and performers to unleash their morbid monologues and spine-tingling tales inspired by the season's prompts and themes and this year, for GrimFest, we’ve conjured up something truly special.
Five handpicked storytellers will take the stage, guided only by their words, voices, and nightmares. Working from the same eerie prompt set by your Horror Slam hosts, Niamh PW and Ned Colin, each writer will deliver a freshly crafted, wholly original horror story, performed live for the very first time on All Hallows’ Eve.
More than a show, this competition of dread and drama will turn on you, the audience, to crown its champion of darkness. At the end of the night your vote will be counted and we will select the story most chilling, heralding our newest Slam champion writer as GrimFest royalty.
From chilling whispers to explosive terror, this is a theatrical experience that lives and breathes right there in the room with you. You might even get your own moment in the spotlight, whether you're a writer or audience there’ll be chances to share your own eerie experiences throughout the night.
Featuring talent from previous Ghosted Ink Horror Slams alongside voices from the GRIMFEST festival line-up, we’re bringing together some of the most electrifying storytellers in horror right now to help you truly celebrate Halloween, the way it should be: live, loud, and utterly grim.
