information about your visit TO THE OLD RED LION THEATRE

TICKET ENQUIRIES

For all ticket enquiries please contact info@weareoldred.co.uk

TICKETS

If you have purchased a ticket for any performance on our website you do not need to print it out (save the trees) - you simply need to show the ticket on your phone/device or provide the name on the booking to enter the theatre.

Tickets are available for purchase from the Bar for any performances on the same date unless sold out.

Doors Open Five Minutes Before Show Time!

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance begins to allow time to purchase drinks and buy a ticket form the bar if you have not prebooked.

Seating is unreserved but if you have any special access requirements please let the bar team know on arrival.

LATECOMERS AND RE-ADMITTANCE

Latecomers cannot be admitted.

Due to the intimacy of the auditorium the theatre operates a strict no latecomers or re-admittance policy. Late entry will involve crossing the stage and, therefore, this policy is enforced for the benefit of both the actors and our audience members.

We are under no obligation to offer refunds or exchanges on your tickets if you are refused entry to a performance due to being late or you are unable to attend a performance due to any travel problems beyond our control.

TRANSFERS OF TICKETS

Tickets can only be transferred within performances of the same run and of the same price, subject to availability and at the discretion of the theatre for a £2 fee per ticket.

Please email info@weareoldred.co.uk with your email and booking reference.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions apply to Senior Citizens, Unemployed, NHS staff, Students, Equity/BECTU/SDUK Members and people with registered disabilities. You will be required to show proof upon entry into the theatre.

DISABLED ACCESS

If you are registered disabled and require an essential companion in order to visit the theatre then we will provide your companion with a complimentary ticket. Please email info@weareoldred.co.uk to request a companion ticket once the booking has been made.

The theatre is located on the first floor above the Old Red Lion Pub and access is gained through the pub and up a staircase with two 90o bends.

As a listed building we unfortunately have limited mobility access – so please do contact us in advance of your visit with access requirements on weareoldred.co.uk and we will offer as much support as possible.

REFUNDS

Tickets will not be refunded except in the case of a cancelled performance.  Personal arrangements including travel and accommodation relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk and are not refundable by us.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The use of mobile phones, cameras, video and any recording of the performance either audio or visual is strictly prohibited. The theatre reserves the right to refuse admission of such equipment.

FOOD AND DRINK

We have a large selection of real ales, lagers, wines and premium spirits.

Our Happy Hour is daily until 7pm which offers two cocktails for £12

The pub now serves fresh homemade pizza from 3pm - 9pm daily.

Please do not take any hot food into the theatre with you. We also discourage bringing any noisy food or packaging that could cause a disturbance - it is a very intimate space and it can be incredibly distracting.

Drinks purchased in the venue can be taken into the auditorium but we ask that you take your glasses back down to the bar at the end of the show.
