bloody nightmare

A short comedy-horror film that explores the inherent gore of the female body and the lengths to which women will go to protect themselves from the violence of pregnancy.

Freya is a burnt out midwife, who would rather fall off a cliff than fall pregnant. When she forgets her time-sensitive contraception pill, she is forced to embark on a night-long goose chase to find more, as she aggressively becomes more and more pregnant. As the side effects of the pill (or lack of it) begin to spiral out of control, Freya's grip on reality begins to crumble.

Extended from the fifteen minute short which was performed as part of ‘Tales From the Hellfire Club’ last year, The Hollow Ice is a chilling thriller which takes place in a bunker set deep in the Antarctic desert.

When two scientists fail to achieve their mission out on the ice, they begin to question why they’re really there in the first place. With nothing but each other, and a super-AI keeping them company, the desperation of survival sets in. Friendship becomes competition, exploration becomes ambition, and life starts blurring between death.
