Pygmalion Title

pygmalion

the importance of being genteel

A wet and miserable day in London is par for the course for a lowly flower-seller, just waiting for some handsome professor to swoop in and elevate her to the lofty heights of high society.

Eliza Doolittle is in luck. Along comes the perfect fellow & his perfectly charming new friend. The pair are prepared to teach her how to talk properly & act fittingly. How fortunate she is, until she isn't.

George Benard Shaw's biting satire on class division & social mobility is as potent today as it's debut production over a century ago.
