The lodger
A Story of the london fog
A young blonde woman screams. She is the seventh victim of a serial killer known as "The Avenger" who targets such ladies on Tuesday evenings... the city is awash with fear & speculation.
The impoverished Bunting's fortunes are finally turning around when a well-spoken stranger rents their room & shows great affection to their daughter Daisy, a fashion model with golden curls.
But who is he?
Marie Belloc-Lowndes' 1913 novel became Alfred Hitchcock's first major motion picture in 1927. This thrilling new stage adaptation pays homage to the art of silent cinema alongside shadow puppetry, live music & a lot of fog!
