NED
After a sold out run at Peckham Fringe, Ned comes to the Old Red Lion from 12th - 14th July.
“I loved seeing the computer’s innards when it all came apart. The wires spilling out like intestines. It was like seeing a teacher in jeans on a school trip. Powerless and vulnerable.”
Violet hasn’t left her flat in days.. her only companion is Ned, who she has a lot to learn from. They both lost their jobs under similar circumstances, two centuries apart.
Ned is a dark and surreal comedy about disenfranchised human beings, loneliness and nostalgia.
★★★★★ “This piece couldn’t be more immediate and raw .. this is something special” - Lost in Theatreland
“We must all start to face what this next technological revolution will mean for us: nostalgia is no refuge, after all. Ned is a great place to start on this journey.” - Salterton Arts Review.
“Fast-paced and witty” - All That Dazzles
