white lion
A Rehearsed Play Reading
On a cold, dark November night in the West Country....
After an evening of drinking, six friends meet up in an abandoned pub on the outskirts of their quiet rural village. The White Lion is an old inn surrounded by legends of druids and witches. Unknowingly, they awaken a dark spirit, a creature with blood on its mind. What follows is a long night of secrets, dark magic, terror and violence. The fight for survival is on, and evil could be lurking anywhere…
In this new play by Sam Gwyn, life in rural England is shown through the blood-spattered lens of a classic “cabin in the woods” ghost story. A darkly comic thriller that will raise the heart-rate and provide a fresh take on the horror genre.
This will be an immersive reading of the play, so audiences should expect surprises, frights, and maybe just a little blood…
