Upon a sunny afternoon Mr. Thomson, the only guest at a small seaside inn, decides to explore the inn's other bedrooms. Even venturing into a lonely room behind a locked door. Why wouldn’t the owners choose to let out the accommodation with the finest views of the whole establishment? Why indeed…

“A Warning to the Curious”

A young historian, Paxton, bicycles along the coast stopping at the town of Seaburgh. Taking an interest in a local tale of a buried crown, which legend has it protect the country from invasion, he sets out to dig it up from its ancient resting place. But something protects the crown, a lone figure who watches and waits, and can abide no digging on this hallowed ground…

 A one-man performance, directed and haunted by Matthew Wood.

 

Matthew regularly performs ghost stories and weird fiction with his platform Edwyrdian Tales (www.edwyrdiantales.com) across the country and over the ether online. He will be back to the Old Red Lion on the 21 st of December with “Ghost Stories for Christmas”.
