UNDEREXPOSED THEATRE returns to the Old Red Lion theatre this spring with a brand new production

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Susan Elkin for Sardines Magazine 'an enjoyable, often deeply thoughtful evening of theatre'

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ EverythingTheatre 'brilliant comedic performances and insightful writing'

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The American Londoner ‘They shake us. And stir us. And I look forward to more challenges from Underexposed Theatre in future.’

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ WestEndWilma 'hilarious...very good new writing'

Standardised preconceptions of certain 'types' of people exist across the wide spectrum of our population and yet we mostly only question those most abhorrent and offensive. But what about those generalisations that don’t get met with immediate disdain, where the stigma does stick and which in many cases fly under the radar of what is considered unacceptable and in poor judgement?

Following wonderfully warm reviews for their debut show, Underexposed, Underexposed Theatre returns to the Old Red Lion for a second outing with a series of short plays that explore the underexposed theme from many more perspectives, pushing the boundaries even further and presenting a diverse range of high quality writing.

Some more serious and others more light-hearted; the vastly varying voices of the contributory writers will have you recognising, questioning and in many cases laughing out loud at the preconceptions that you never really thought you might have.

From a social outcast seeking love to a young composer seeking inspiration, from workplace battles to household disputes, from matters of the heart to trouble of the mind, UnderExposed 2018 has something for everyone.
