Instinct Theatre and Quantum Frolic Theatre are thrilled to be running a series of workshops at The Old Red Lion Theatre Pub, the first of which is called 'Introduction to Production'. 

This workshop is ideal for early career producers who are thinking of bringing a show, be it a scratch night, showcase, rehearsed reading or their first full run of a show to the theatre. It is also suited for actors, writers, directors and artists looking to start a company or produce their own work.

Introduction to Production is a practical, anecdotal and accessible guide to the ins and outs of putting on a production including:

• Budgeting

• Setting up a theatre company

• Pitching a play

• Fundraising

• Understanding contracts

• Casting

• Making a production diary

• Choosing a theatre

...as well as a chance to talk about your potential project (if you have one) and get some specific feedback and advice.
