THE SPILL presents…

REUNION

by Chris Holbrook

Directed by Tamar Saphra

Cast to be announced

Max, 42, an American ex-pat living in France, returns home to a Chicago suburb, ostensibly to sell the house of his mother, who died five years before, and make a new life for himself in Europe. However, it soon becomes clear that this homecoming is something that he has done before, and that the real goal of his trip is much darker—something that could tear apart the lives of his family and friends.

Part ghost-story, part psychological whodunit, “Reunion” is a story about a homecoming of someone without a home.

About The Spill

The Spill is an evening of new writing, giving one playwright the opportunity to have their new play performed as a rehearsed reading in front of a live audience. Monday Club work with the successful playwright to source a director and a cast of actors for an intensive one-day rehearsal period, culminating in a performance at the Old Red Lion Theatre on the same evening.

Our aim for The Spill is to spark collaboration amongst passionate writers, directors and actors through the development of new work.

Visit www.mondayclub.co.uk/thespill to find out more about our past readings at the Old Red Lion.
