A Drag Queen, a Clown, and a Frenchman walk into the theatre and they want to make you laugh…no matter what!!
We present for your delectation an exploration of two of theatre’s great anti-traditions: clowning and drag. Both with particular relationships to the audience, both with a desire to be loved, and both with an intrinsic relationship to failure. Yet rather than a clown in drag or a clowny drag queen, we want to explore what happens when you try and combine them together. As a company, we engage with the features of theatre, cabaret and comedy.
As well as this, our desire is to make YOU laugh. Laughter is our main concern. It is laughter that allows us to be silly and ridiculous. We want to entertain you and are prepared to stop at nothing to achieve it. So strap yourselves in for a joyful, chaotic, beautiful mess that raises questions about gender, theatrical traditions and layers of identities.
