THE SPILL presents...
A new play by Reece Connolly
Directed by Oscar Toeman
Claire and Gregg are a power couple. Well-to-do and up-and-coming. Ticking the right boxes, living out their parents' dreams in blissful surburbia - until a mutually discovered desire to brutally murder their neighbours' pets threatens to gut their world to its very core. Watch the fur fly.
CHUTNEY is a pitch-black comedy about love, happiness, and unleashing the beast within.
Gregg: Joe Male
Claire: Charlotte Whitaker
Bertha: Ella-Rose Taylor
The Spill is an evening of new writing, giving one playwright the opportunity to have their new play performed as a rehearsed reading in front of a live audience. Monday Club work with the successful playwright to source a director and a cast of actors for an intensive one-day rehearsal period, culminating in a performance at the Old Red Lion Theatre on the same evening.
Our aim for The Spill is to spark collaboration amongst passionate writers, directors and actors through the development of their new work.
