Ronnie Rigsby has been the resident compere for most of the club's history and has had the pleasure of introducing such acts as Lenny Henry, Lee  intimate club setting. 

From these humble beginnings, it has gone on to become London’s (and probably the World's) longest running new material night for established acts.

You will often see rising stars on the same bill as seasoned circuit professionals and it’s not unusual for top TV names to drop in unannounced to sharpen up their gags.

As we enter the third decade of this highly original night we have moved on from our original site The Camden Head to re-launch in February 2011 at London’s latest comedy venue The New Red Lion Theatre.

Now that we have double the seating capacity you have more chance to say...“I heard it there first!”
