Voices of the Fallen

by Anthony Cord

New Years Eve. Someone remembers the recent past. Another is looking for peace. Together they remember their friends and colleagues - those that fell during the Great War. Solace for one. A dangerous game for the other.

Through poems, letters, and anecdotes 2 actors play a “game of ghosts” by remembering those that lived and fell during the First World War. Improvised sketches and script join the reality of the words written at the time to combine in an unforgettable journey that takes the audience from hope to dismay, from love to death, from joy to sadness - as each has a story to tell - a story each will never forget.

This unique mixture of well-known poems, lesser known letters and scripted dialogue and songs will take you on an emotional journey - a deserved tribute - “lest you forget”.

“Voices of the Fallen” is a one act play lasting approximately 55 minutes - devised by Anthony Cord of Cordial Theatre Productions. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to witness a true piece of well-crafted theatre.
